Hi, I’m Trish

Hi! I’m Trish. A family photographer and educator based in sunny Sydney, Australia.

It’s funny how life comes full circle. 

After completing a double finance/law degree and working at an investment bank, I left the corporate world to begin my photography business.  Nearly two decades, three beautiful children, and an infinite learning curve later, I find myself here. 

Excited to combine all my experience in creativity and business, especially for mothers struggling to navigate it all.    Because when business makes sense, this work you love can bring you the freedom, flexibility, and fulfilment you’ve been dreaming of.

No one tells you how much being a business owner demands of you. How much mental space is taken up by anything and everything your dreams are made up of.  When your work is not simply a project but a passion, when it demands not just discipline but devotion too.

My purpose in creating the One Woman Business is to be that helping hand when all you carry feels a little too heavy. When you’re not sure where to place your next step or what investment of time and energy will truly move the needle for you.

Through these education offerings for family photographers, my hope is that your confidence and expertise will grow, that my years of experience will help you collapse both time and error, and that you will cement the foundations of building a joyful, profitable, and sustainable business. My hope is that this will serve you and your family in the same way it has so beautifully served mine.
